Joe Kaplowitz has invited eminent Croatian piano virtuosos as guests on his new album 'The Keyboard Extravaganza: Matija Dedić, Viktor Lipić, Zvjezdan Ružić, Toni Starešinić, Kristijan Terzić, Zlatan Došlić and Hrvoje Galler. Along with them, the esteemed drummer Janko Novoselić plays on the album.The musical styles of the tracks are wide ranging and include jazz, classical, progressive rock and funk.

The project was created to bring together pianists who often play the role of solo performers or who accompany vocalists and other soloists. They rarely have the opportunity to hang out together or play together. This is a rare album involving the best Croatian pianists.

The tracks were recorded at Studio 21 on a magnetic tape recorder via analog tapes. The mix and mastering were analog and everything was transferred to digital format.

Album was recorded in September 2022.
